Dan Wootton
Artistic Director
Dan Wootton is currently the minister of music at Carbondale Assembly, Tulsa. Dan also serves as adjunct faculty at Berryhill High School directing the Berryhill Concert Choir. Dan and his wife Mandy moved to Tulsa in 2005.
Dan's stage credits include the lead rolls of Albert Peterson in Bye, Bye Birdie and The Scarecrow in The Wizard Oz among others. Dan's playwright endeavors include numerous award winning sketches, 3 full-length musicals, and 3 dinner comedies. His dinner comedies alone have run 15+ dates in 4 different venues from Texas to Ohio.
Dan's musical studies lead him to Central Bible College where he was named Outstanding Senior Musician in 2005. Dan has directed and written for numerous musical groups both traditional and modern and has performed personally for audiences from 5 to 15,000.
Dan's improv studies began in Springfield, Missouri under the tutelage of Jeff Jenkins, Founder of The Skinny Improv. After working with The Skinny Improv in 2005, Dan relocated to Tulsa and began the dream of innovative comedy for the whole family. Dan currently serves as Artistic Director and performer with Crayons Improv.
